Color Blasting Fun


This week opens summer camp with fun activities such as making rainbow pops, color bombs, marbled color art, walking rainbow, colorful dry erase tattoos, and so much more!

Blowing Off STEAM: Beginner Scientists


*Center Closed on July 3rd


With so many elements to the world of science, students will learn and explore some of the basics, where most scientists begin… chemical reactions; changing the property of substances and materials; engineering concepts for design, building and making things work; and even incorporating art into science!

Week 3 : July 6-10

Water Works


Water, water everywhere! Water exists all over the world in various forms- bodies (oceans, rivers, seas, lakes, ponds), waterfalls, bottles for drinking, tanks for use in homes and businesses, and so many more places. We will explore the many ways water can be used for fun with cool hands-on experiences, including a frozen water tower, using water to separate colors, water’s reactions to other elements, and so much more! This week will end with a trip across the street to The Boro Tysons, where student can have a fun time splashing around in the water at the Splash Pad there.

Week 4 : July 13-17

DIY Crafting Workshop


Recycling and reusing is becoming the new norm for getting creative. Home décor items, shelving and display units, keepsake creations, and so much more have been made using materials from broken and unusable things, now more than ever. This workshop will provide students with the opportunity to get creative and make something using recycled and reusable materials from things that would have been thrown away.

Week 5 : July 20-24

Gogh with the Flow: Exploring Art


Explore famous artwork and art concepts, and create pieces inspired by famous artists around the world. Students will show off their work and creativity at the week’s end with our annual School-Age Art Showcase!

Week 6 : July 27-31

Culinary Creations


Explore kitchen fun with different types of cooking- baking, sautéing, pan-cooking, slow-cooking, and even no-cooking! Students will have hand-on, safe, adult-supervised experiences with food preparation and cooking activities. Food allergies are taken into consideration and alternate options are available where necessary.

Amazing Artists


From dancing and singing to unique abilities, students can showcase their talents and hobbies to the center in a fun and festive talent show- on the set and behind the scenes! Show us what you’ve got!

Let the Games Begin!


Engage in a bunch of games and activities that build sportsmanship and win prizes while having fun. Students will explore a variety of game types from team games, board games, outdoor games, card games, and thinking games. Students may even bring their own games to camp to teach and enjoy with friends.

Aloha Summer!

As the summer comes to an end, in anticipation for a new school year, we’ll go out with a fun and festive luau! Explore Hawaiian culture and traditions, create cool Hawaiian themed arts and craft, and prepare for a colorful and cheerful Hawaiian luau party with dancing and cool treats!

Teacher Work Day? Bring Your Kid Back to TCCC!

TCCC alumni, older siblings, and school-aged children (5-8 years old) can “drop in” on select days throughout the year. This option is on a space-available basis during FCPS Student Holidays and Teacher Workdays. Click the “register” button and submit your School-Age Care Request form to see if space is available for your child.
